Carry out all Crane lifting, Vessel, Deck and Helicopter operations safely in accordance with procedures. Acting as a member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team in the event of an incident to ensure minimal harm to personnel, environment and asset Contributing to the development and review of risk assessments to ensure that hazards have been identified, adequate mitigations are in place and risk has been reduced. We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar for a : General Foreman (Hazardous Waste) HWTC comprises of Liquid Hazardous Waste Treatment Facility (LHWTF), Stabilization & Solidification Facility (SSF), Oily Waste Treatment Facility (OWTF), Class-I landfill facility, Class-II landfill facility, Land farming facility, Interim Storage facilities, Process Water Storage Ponds, Evaporation Ponds and other ancillaries. MIC is in advance stage of commissioning of various facilities at HWTC: a mixing facility and an Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Unit (ATDU).

Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science / Environmental Chemistry or BSc in Organic / Inorganic Chemistry. Experience: Minimum 8 years of working experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical Industry. Out of that minimum 5 years of experience in Waste Identification / Waste Characterization / Waste Classification / Operation & Maintenance of Hazardous Waste Treatment Centre. Incumbent shall be able to read and interpret the Material Safety Data Sheet and associate hazards / risk of the hazardous waste. Fluent in Spoken and Written English. Good data interpretation and compilation skills. Ability to perform field inspection / sampling. Troubleshoot the operational faults and problem solving. Ability to work in team and to be flexible in work assignment. Good supervisory skill, inter-personnel skill, and investigation skills Computer literacy and fluency in micro soft office applications is essential. Incumbent shall be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs and process flow diagrams. Candidate shall hold valid Qatar driving license.
