JOB PURPOSE:
To be the link with the Headquarters for the IT management within the BU MEA an Implement and support to the IT transition policy / plan.
He/She is accountable for maintaining proper access rights to sensitive data and ensuring protection of personal data such as medical records.

REPORTING TO:
Regional Finance Manager
 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Maintains the computer systems, servers and networks of the BU. He / she may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems.
· Installing and configuring new computer and server, Installing and testing new software and corporate software
· Maintaining computers, servers and network hardware
· Maintaining in house software (GEMS / EDMS / Prolog / SAGE), insuring they are working properly
· Insuring the coherence of the data informed in the in-house software, taking care of their recurrent updates
· Extracting data of in-house software upon the request of other support functions, business centers or Headquarters
·  Administering file server user permissions and data access policies
· Managing firewall, email and spam filtering systems
·  Ensuring anti-virus software is installed, properly configured, regularly updated and working properly on all PC and server stations
·  Monitoring LAN for security issues
·  Creating and setting account users in Active Directory, managing Active Directory and Group Policies
· Setting up and maintaining backup system, and onsite/offsite storage
·  Planning for disaster recovery
·  Installing software available to appropriate users
·  Monitoring against usage of unlicensed and unauthorized software
· Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware &amp; software failures (application plus system data base)
· Implement IT solutions, policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and availability of existing infrastructure, ensure integrity of all company electronic data, and support effectively the company goals and strategies.
· Liaise with external support agencies to resolve faults specify.

This role is crucial for the smooth coordination of various project entities, including the Interface department, Integration team, and Project Services.
Main Accountabilities:
The main accountabilities of the position include prioritizing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for all electrical personnel, coordinating and approving quality and completeness of deliverables, assisting Commissioning Unit leaders in witnessing and monitoring pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and reviewing pre-commissioning dossiers and attached preliminary checks. The specialist is also responsible for supervising the management and operation of switchgears and switchboards manipulations performed by EPCC Contractors after energization of high voltage networks within the electrical substation for commissioning tests together with the Proponent Electrical team.
Package 4 Commissioning Electrical Specialist (SS21 and SS22):
1) Experience in OPERCOM ™ and ICAPS© application
2) At least 10 years of experience in Oil&amp;Gas industry, including ~5 years of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning 
3) Experience in energization and testing of HV and LV switchgears; DC and AC UPS; Batteries; Oil filled / dry type Transformers
4) Knowledge of electrical safety protocols, Permit to Work system; Electrical Lock-out / Tag-out.
5) Responsible for supervision of Electrical Commissioning activities in SS22 and SS21 including HV 34.5 kV; and LV 480V Switchgears testing, including CT's and VT's; Protection relays setting; Primary and secondary injection; Hipot test; ductor tests; UPS batteries charge / discharge tests&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications:
The qualifications required for this position include an engineer level education or above, high knowledge of electrical activities within oil and gas units, especially high voltage (240 kV), and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position of electrical commissioning engineer for high voltage systems. Specific skills such as knowledge of EPCC contract management, OPERCOM®, and ICAPS© are a plus. Additionally, the candidate should be methodic, organized, have a good team spirit, and be fluent in English, with Arabic being a plus.&lt;br /&gt;
