SERVICE DIMENSION:
The Project Architect serves as the Company's resident in-house architectural authority across all Company EP Nigeria Limited facilities in Nigeria. The role holder is responsible for the full architectural lifecycle of capital projects and facilities management services, from initial design concept through to construction supervision, quality assurance, and as-built documentation.
This is a technically demanding, multi-site role requiring a seasoned professional who can independently manage complex briefs, engage with contractors and consultants to enforce design standards, and ensure that all built environments meet the Company's specifications, regulatory requirements, and best international practices in construction and infrastructure.

ACTIVITIES:
A. Architectural Design &amp; Documentation
Articulate, initiate and develop original conceptual architectural designs in response to project briefs and Company requirements.
Produce detailed architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and specifications, across all project stages from concept to construction.
Prepare shop drawings and change-control drawings during construction phases, ensuring alignment with approved designs.
Review and validate architectural designs submitted by external consultants, verifying compliance with scope, specifications, and applicable standards.
Maintain and update all architectural working documents to reflect evolving site conditions and approved variations.

B. Construction Supervision &amp; Quality Control
Provide day-to-day on-site supervision of all architectural aspects of construction works across Company locations.
Ensure strict adherence by contractors to approved construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections on all architectural elements, identifying defects and non-conformances.
Supervise the testing and approval of building materials and components to confirm compliance with specified standards.
Prepare detailed site inspection reports, punch lists, and progress updates for Management review.
C. Project Management Support
Serve as the Company's resident site architect for both Special Projects and Facilities Management works.
Provide technical guidance on construction methods, sequencing, and best-practice execution approaches.
Verify that completed works conform strictly to approved-for-construction drawings prior to signing off.
Carry out periodic reviews of architectural drawings and ensure timely updates as required throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure that all as-built drawings for Company facilities are accurately completed, filed, and maintained.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
D. Standards, Compliance &amp; Documentation
Ensure all architectural deliverables conform to Company' internal specifications (COMPANY standards) and applicable industry best practices.
Maintain a comprehensive and current record of all architectural drawings, specifications, and technical references for Company facilities.
Support the development and continuous improvement of architectural standards and procedures within the Facilities Management function.
Liaise with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to ensure coordinated, integrated design outputs.
KPI
Timely delivery of accurate architectural drawings and documentation at each project stage.
Zero tolerance for non-conforming construction works proceeding without formal resolution or approved variation.
Completeness and currency of as-built drawings for all Company facilities.
Quality of site inspection reports and punch lists, measured by Management and contractor feedback.
Compliance of completed works with approved-for-construction drawings, as verified at project sign-off.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is mandatory.
Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) or an equivalent professional body is an advantage.
Minimum of 14 years' post-qualification work experience in an architectural or engineering consultancy or a comparable corporate environment.
Demonstrated experience managing the full architectural lifecycle of major construction and infrastructure projects.
Prior experience working within an oil and gas, energy, or large corporate multi-site environment is highly desirable.&lt;br /&gt;

Responsibilities include:
Build EPNG Project Management System
Provide support to define the method &amp; tools related to contract management, claims and disputes management.
Participate to definition methods for the entity (Contract toolbox, Competence requirement for contract engineers, expertise requirement, evaluation quiz...)
Communicate, explain and raise awareness on the methods and tools, and contractual rigorousness.
Control the contract management of the portfolio and prepare for Claim
Provide guidance in identifying potential change orders and claims.
Assist the project in drafting correspondences and notices to Contractors.
Analysis and review of existing Claims: provide support to projects for existing Claims and corresponding resolution (contracts execution phase / close out phase),
Provide higher understanding and recommendations for building the Claim dossiers / corresponding settlement.
Provide expertise to projects
When relevant may act as Contract engineer for some designated projects.
Coach the contract engineers of the entity and Projects Portfolio (Assistance, advice, training...)
Provide dedicated support during CFT or claim negotiation, Tender evaluation… 
Provide support to the project to build ad Hoc Decision support dossier for Contract Committee or VO approval
Help project to navigate within HQ, TGP or the affiliate making sure internal stakeholder are well informed and consulted as required.
Improve and learn from experience
Contribute continuously to Contracts REX/Lessons Learnt consolidation. For each of the dossier, starting by screening the existing REX and when completing a dossier preparing main lessons learnt to be shared with other contract engineers and to be archived.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for High Profile Contract Engineer (Expat) to join its work force in Nigeria.
Responsibilities shall include:
Verify that company's Contractual Policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, especially related to ethics and transparency.
Verify that Contracts comply with the standards of the company and the agreements with the partners.
Ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the tender process.
Work closely with the DUET counterpart to create the contracts dossier, develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities and discuss the agenda including:
Validation of contracts strategy, negotiation and analysis of commercial bids, participation in recommendations to award.
Adapt standard contract templates to local conditions
Provide professional advice and guidance to all contract owners/entities with respect to contractual matters
Liaise with Methods and Performance and Domain Manager for timely reporting (not limited to validate and record savings in Agora) and statistics matters
Keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures in other entities and affiliates for improvement of contracts practices in the COMPANY.
Promote the use of frame agreements.
Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market
Participate in the validation of the contract's strategy through: Arranging and attending Contracts Committee Meetings, common recommendation with duet, pre-qualifying bidders, defining target prices, defining criteria for evaluation, establish CFT commercial documents, etc.
Prepare and send out the dossiers of pre-consultation for Standard or Complex invitations to bid.
Verify the alignment with Ethics, Compliance, H3SEQ clauses, Company rules, Procedures, Instructions and applicable legislation when issuing all technical contracts and when drafting contractual and commercial terms and conditions
Verify the Terms &amp; Conditions (standard, general and financial)
Create contracts from standard templates (where they exist) or develop one (where template is not available) and create outline agreements in SAP.
Conduct the Terms &amp; Conditions bid analysis and negotiation for the best interest of COMPANY.
Conduct the commercial bid analysis and negotiation thereby creating a clear definition of responsibilities and documents together with the DUET
Take the leading role in recommendations to award presentation to contracts Committee in collaboration with triplet.
Participate in the signing of formal document after approval from authorities and partners and clarification of rights and obligations of both signing parties according to DOA
Ensures that own contracts are created and managed in UNISUP and AGORA, ensure effective use of tools and systems (Ariba, NIPEX&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Operators in Oil &amp; Gas EP environment experiences shall be mandatory,
International experience is an added advantage,
Candidates must have resided abroad and possess foreign experiences,
A degree in Engineering, Management or Social Sciences (preferably Supply Chain)
Membership of relevant professional bodies in the Supply Chain and in Operational functions will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
5 to 8 years' experience in oil and gas industry of which 3 years should be as a Senior contract Engineer.
Demonstrable general knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal and insurance issues affecting the company in general.
Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary for a range of complex internal and external negotiations.
Candidate’s ability to learn &amp; be trained quickly on SAP/R3, SAP reporting tool and e-sourcing tool will be an added advantage.
Requires a very good level of coordination, negotiation, interpersonal relationship, conviviality, capacity of anticipation, analysis, and synthesis.&lt;br /&gt;

Mission
Position based in Angola within Division DB20 GSR/Area B, of the newly created
Directorate DB20 within the TEPA subsidiary. The Senior Geophysisicst will
• report to the Area B Leader, and work in an integrated manner with
geologists, and reservoir engineers,
• get/give support from/to peers,
• act as a senior geophysicist for Geophysical matters,
• interact with technical interfaces at the affiliate (Subsurface operations and
drilling teams) and with OneTech support
Main Activities
Be responsible for geophysical works and tasks for Area B assets
On operated assets
• Analyze and validate geophysical data through QA/QC of the fields of Area B.
• Participate in the development wells preparation and drilling follow-up, in
coordination with the subsurface and drilling teams.
• Ensure geophysical interpretation of geophysical data
• Ensure the proper use and integration of geophysical data in the geoscience
studies conducted by headquarters in the context of new infills and delineation
/ development projects to contribute to the production growth and cost
optimization/reduction
• Participate in the definition/optimization of field development plans.
On non-operated assets (OBO)
• Be Technical referent for all non-operated geophysics subjects
• Proposal of ideas/projects for developing contingent resources within the
partnership
• Participation in the various technical and institutional workshops planned by
the partnership
• Participate to the promotion and reporting of OBO projects, in collaboration
with the Senior reservoir Engineer
• Role of influence and representativeness of the company as well as promotion
of its technical know-how&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Degree requested
• M.Sc. in Geological/Geophysical Engineering, Petroleum
Geology/Geophysics
Professional experience
• At least 10 years
Knowledge
• Autonomy in geophysical interpretation (mainly on CIG),
• Knowledge in techniques &amp; tools used in geophysical works,
• knowledge of geology and reservoir and 4D interpretation, interaction with
reservoir engineers
Languages
• Fluent English (written, spoken) requested. French and Portuguese are
valuable assets

Diplôme d’ingénieur ou BAC +5 en gestion, transport &amp; logistique, école de commerce.
5 ans d’expérience minimum à un poste de responsable achats, transport et logistique ou autres postes similaires.
