The role involves both field/site activities and office/documentation responsibilities, ensuring compliance with client HSE requirements, company standards, local regulations, and international best practices while promoting a strong safety culture across all operational activities. Key Responsibilities: Site / Operational Activities Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits on operational and project locations. Monitor compliance with HSE procedures, PTW systems, SIMOPS requirements, and safe work practices. Participate in some toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-job risk assessments. Ensure proper implementation of: JSA/JHA Risk assessments Method statements Emergency response procedures. Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. Follow up corrective and preventive actions until closure. Coordinate with client HSE representatives, contractors, PSD/security teams, and operational personnel on site. Monitor PPE compliance and stock and overall workforce safety behavior. Support mobilization, induction, and HSE onboarding of personnel. Assist operational teams in maintaining safe working conditions in challenging or remote environments.   Documentation & Office Activities Prepare, review, and update HSE documentation including: HSE Plans Procedures Risk Assessments Emergency Response Plans HSE Bridging Documents Method Statements PTW-related documentation Maintain HSE records, statistics, and KPI dashboards. Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports for management and clients. Track incidents, observations, action plans, and audit findings. Ensure compliance and bridge gaps with: Client HSE requirements Company HSE Management System Iraqi regulations International standards and industry best practices. Participate in internal and external HSE audits. Coordinate HSE trainings, competency matrices, and certification tracking. Assist management in developing and promoting HSE campaigns and safety initiatives. Monitor subcontractor and vendor HSE compliance documentation.<br /><br /> Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in HSE, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 6 years of HSE experience with international clients and EPC contractors. Good understanding of: Brownfield and greenfield operations. Construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. SIMOPS environments PTW systems Recognized HSE certifications preferred: NEBOSH IOSH OSHA ISO 45001 awareness/auditor Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and best practices.   Skills & Competencies Strong field presence and leadership capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively Good report writing and documentation skills. Proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation. Good command of English (written and spoken).
