Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Construction Supervisor (Electrical &amp; Instrument) is to supervise and oversee all construction activities concerning electrical and instrument in accordance with the established CAT III, IV, V and VI Projects processes, specification, and IFC Drawings. The Construction Supervisor - Electrical &amp; Instrument is responsible in supervising the execution of all CAT III, IV, V and VI Projects Mechanical and Piping Construction activities safely, with the required quality, and per schedule.
 The role Directly reports to the Head of Construction and works closely with the assigned Construction Lead. The role works in the Pool Matrix of the Construction Division.  
 The role is applicable to Brownfield and Greenfield CAT III, IV, V and VI Projects, and in normal plant operating conditions as well as shutdowns.
 The role provides QatarEnergy LNG representation in monitoring and coordinating the site and safety activities of Contractor and its Sub-contractors.
 The role reports on the construction activities, progress, and areas of concern and mitigating actions.
 The role prepares for and participate in CAT III, IV, V and VI Project(s) Weekly Construction Meetings.
 The role reviews and approves Construction Method Statements provided by the Contractor and ensures that its requirements are fully implemented at site by the Contractor / Sub-contractor.
Main Duties / Accountabilities:
· Familiar with the QatarEnergy LNG health, safety and environment requirements and ensure that they are adhered to during construction activities.
· Ensure safety compliance at site and participated in QatarEnergy LNG Safety IIF Program.
· Engage Contractors, Sub-contractors, and applicable Third Parties with a professional approach and maintain a good working level relationship.
· Fully conversant with QatarEnergy LNG and Project’s discipline specific, facility related technical specification requirements.
· Interface and coordinate with the Project Engineering and QA/QC Teams.
 ·  Coordinate Contractor’s Construction activities, and interface coordination with the activities of Third Parties. Coordinate Contractors construction activities with QatarEnergy LNG.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
· Bachelor of Science in Electrical / Instrument Engineering, or equivalent such as Diploma.
· Thorough knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, IEEE,  etc. Codes / Standards.
· Minimum of Eignt (08) years broad experience in all phases of Construction planning, field execution and mechanical completion activities in electrical and instrument discipline for EPC type Oil and Gas Projects.
· Experience working in Brownfield and Greenfield Projects with Contractors and Sub-contractors, in particular those involved in the Construction of Onshore and Offshore (when required), Plant Shutdowns, Oil &amp; Gas, Chemical and / or Petrochemical Plant Facilities. In addition to experience in installation, modification, and testing of electrical, instrument, and systems control equipment.
· Experience in HVAC Systems electrical panels installation and cable termination / testing (Optional).
· Good leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member under project schedule pressures.
·Self-motivated and proactive in communication, taking action, and efficiently driving construction activities.  
 ·  Fluent in both spoken and written English.
· Possess good IT skills, and be able to use basic software such as Excel, Word, etc.

·   Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent such as Diploma.
·   Thorough knowledge of ASME, API, ASNT, NACE, etc. Codes / Standards.

DCS Operator (Process Units)

Job Purpose:
Support for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the established operating procedures and written and oral instructions from the Shift Lead.
Supporting operation of DCS control console to coordinate and regulate process variables as required for the purpose of maintaining safe and stable operation and keeping required quality of products.
In addition, Panel Operators will conduct on-job-training for Employer’s operators during the shift.

Your main duties will be to:
1. Support for control and operation of DCS console. Communicate very closely with Shift Lead and field operators by Radio communication. Advise field operators to carry-out field operation and to monitor the field instrument, according to operation manuals.
2. Make the DCS trend data or historical data from DCS Panel. Perform basic calculations for determining process parameters and material balances.
3. Maintain good working spirit and coordinate with Shift Lead and other operators in shift.
4. Follow, implement and maintain HSE requirements, rules and regulations; maintain HSE performance.
5. Support to ensure that all environmental parameters i.e., Emission, and Effluent are within the limitation defined in the PJ Environmental procedure.
6. Understand deeply operation manual and Plant Control System Narrative (DCS Control, Emergency shut down system, Fire &amp; Gas system, Cause and Effect Chart, etc.).
7. Assist the Maintenance Disciplines (Rotating, Electrical, Mechanical Instrument and Control etc.) and/or Vendor Specialists regarding Panel operation to complete all required works including trouble shooting and achieve the stable operation of facilities within the shortest time, under the direction by Shift Lead.
8. Support for recording, compiling, reporting and documenting operating data, and monitoring process indicators.
9. Coordinate with other shift panel operators to hand-over the status of plant start-up and operation clearly by shift change-over meeting and obtain hand-over from other shift panel operators correctly, before starting shift work.
10. Assist on -job training of Employer’s panel operators under the direction by Shift Lead.
11. In case emergency event, the focal point to communicate field operators from Control room.

Job Purpose:

In addition, Field Operators will conduct on-job-training for Employer’s operators during the shift.

Your main duties will be to:
1. Provide OJT through Carrying out the field activities during start-up and operation of plant facilities under the direction by Shift Leader and Panel Operator.
2. Communicate very closely with Shift Lead and Panel Operators by Radio and provide assistance for carrying out manual adjustment of valve, instrument, other equipment in the field.
3. Support for Loading / Unloading chemicals and other fluid in the field as necessary for plant operation.
4. Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice.
5. Support for collecting and analyzing samples of gas, oil, water as necessary for plant performance check.
6. Maintain good working spirit and coordinate with Shift Lead and other Operators in shift.
7. Follow, implement and maintain HSSE requirements, rules and regulations; maintain HSSE performance.
8. Understand deeply Plant operation manual, Plant Start-up Manual, and Pre-commissioning and Commissioning procedures.
9. Assist the Maintenance Disciplines (Rotating, Electrical, Mechanical Instrument and Control etc.) and/or Vendor Specialists in the field to complete all required works including trouble shooting and achieve the stable operation of facilities within the shortest time.

11. Check and review the activities that are requested by PTW to allow maintenance work in the plant. Support for carrying-out the shut-down of plant facility and isolation of facility under the direction by Shift Lead to carry-out maintenance work safely.

13. Review and comment on pre-commissioning and commissioning, start-up &amp; operation procedure.
14. Any other job required by Shift Leader or Panel Operator in the field.

Job Purpose:

Lab Technician

Job Purpose:
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely execution of routine and non-routine analytical tests on refinery process streams, finished products, and raw materials. Operating under direct supervision, the technician follows standardized procedures to generate high-quality data that is critical for process control, product quality certification, and environmental compliance.
Your main duties will be to:
• Pick samples from designated plant sample points as assigned, following all safe work practices and permit procedures.
• Receive, log, and properly label samples in the laboratory logbook upon receipt.
• Prepare samples for analysis, which may include filtration, dilution, homogenization, or derivatization.
• Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and mobile phases as directed by SOPs.
• Label all solutions with contents, concentration, preparation date, expiration date, and preparer's initials
• Adhere to all quality control procedures outlined in the laboratory's QMS.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and HSE policies without exception.
• Operate a wide range of authorized laboratory instruments.
• Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests on a variety of samples including crude oil, intermediate process streams, fuels (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel), gases, amine solutions, water, wastewater etc.
• Execute tests strictly in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and international standard methods (e.g., ASTM, UOP, ISO, Shell SMS).
• Accurately and legibly record all raw data, observations, and calculations in laboratory notebooks and worksheets.
• Perform basic calculations and data transformations as required by the test method.
• Report any instrument malfunction or performance drift immediately to the Lab Engineer.
• Report all unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately to the Lab Engineer / Lead Lab Engineer.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Handle all chemicals and hazardous waste according to established safety procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lab Engineer or Lead Lab Engineer.

Job Purpose

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Carries out external visual examinations complemented with NDT examination as required on Company equipment such as vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, pressure safety devices, piping, lifting equipment according to Company established policies and procedures and issues inspection reports.
2. Performs preliminary integrity assessment of static equipment and piping according to Company established policies and procedures, interprets findings and issues inspection reports using Meridium or similar software.
3. Inspects maintenance and capital project works being carried out in the field, to ensure that established maintenance practices and procedures are followed for welding, painting, fabrication and installation as per policy and in compliance with relevant applicable international codes and standard.
4. Carries out or supervises NDT tests on mechanical equipment and piping according to the instructions from Supervisor or Corrosion Engineer. Tests include dye penetrant examination, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, hardness tests, eddy current, IRIS, thermography, PMI, Metallography, boroscopy and use of special equipment to determine DFT of paint and ferrometer for stainless steel welding tests and other tests and inspections as required. Follows all required safety procedures while carrying out the work.
5. Initiates inspection recommendation using Meridium and/or via appropriate notification and tracks progress to completion to ensure mitigation of potential risks.
6. Maintains company inspection instruments, tools, and equipment in good and operational condition. Coordinates for planning and procuring of additional instruments as required.
7. Undertakes additional specific inspection related duties as directed by Inspection Engineer/Senior Inspection Engineer to fulfil annual targets and special tasks.
8. Ensures proper maintenance of inspection reports and records. Maintains various records in the computerized systems, updating inspection test results and other data as required. Education

HND/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

Job Purpose

1.Support project lifecycle management by identifying HSE deliverables and actions at each phase of the project (FEED, EPC, Commissioning, Operations, etc.). Job Purpose

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Carries out external visual examinations complemented with NDT examination as required on Company equipment such as vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, pressure safety devices, piping, lifting equipment according to Company established policies and procedures and issues inspection reports.
2. Performs preliminary integrity assessment of static equipment and piping according to Company established policies and procedures, interprets findings and issues inspection reports using Meridium or similar software.
3. Inspects maintenance and capital project works being carried out in the field, to ensure that established maintenance practices and procedures are followed for welding, painting, fabrication and installation as per policy and in compliance with relevant applicable international codes and standard.
4. Carries out or supervises NDT tests on mechanical equipment and piping according to the instructions from Supervisor or Corrosion Engineer. Tests include dye penetrant examination, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, hardness tests, eddy current, IRIS, thermography, PMI, Metallography, boroscopy and use of special equipment to determine DFT of paint and ferrometer for stainless steel welding tests and other tests and inspections as required. Follows all required safety procedures while carrying out the work.
5. Initiates inspection recommendation using Meridium and/or via appropriate notification and tracks progress to completion to ensure mitigation of potential risks.
6. Maintains company inspection instruments, tools, and equipment in good and operational condition. Coordinates for planning and procuring of additional instruments as required.
7. Undertakes additional specific inspection related duties as directed by Inspection Engineer/Senior Inspection Engineer to fulfil annual targets and special tasks.
8. Ensures proper maintenance of inspection reports and records. Maintains various records in the computerized systems, updating inspection test results and other data as required. Implements inspection recommendation by notifications raised through SAP and then tracking the progress until completion of work.
9. Coordinates and supervises contractor resources team when required to ensure service compliance with company requirements as well as quality of service provided.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in in-service inspection
Knowledge of inspection techniques including UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced NDT methods
Familiarity with relevant international codes, standards, and specifications
Certification in API 510 and/or API 570 (API 653 certification preferred, where required)
Experience using Meridium or similar data management systems
Understanding of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), corrosion, corrosion control, and damage mechanisms
Basic knowledge of plant processes and materials
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office&lt;br /&gt;
