ARCHITECT ENGINEER
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Architect/Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality office fit-out and interior projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and construction. This includes ensuring compliance with building scope aligned with local regulations, managing vendors and contractors, and maintaining open communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate the installation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other essential systems.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of finishes such as flooring, walls, ceilings, windows, and doors.
- Ensure all projects meet expectations and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain necessary materials and equipment.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and address any concerns raised by clients or stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and implement health and safety protocols to protect workers and clients on site.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, address questions, and resolve any issues that may arise during the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all components, including IT infrastructure, security systems, and audio-visual equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including permits, inspections, and testing results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to quality control, risk management, and environmental sustainability.
Bachelor's degree in Architect Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in office fit-outs and interior construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale commercial projects from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software (e.g., PlanGrid, Bluebeam). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
