Job description

SPIE Global Services Energy Ghana Limited is currently looking for HVAC profiles (Supervisor/ Foremans /Technician)  to join its workforce ONSHORE in GHANA !

As part of the Intervention Team you will have the privilege to work under in various projects and be mentored by our experts on site.

 

 

 

Main activities:

  • Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
  • Performs on-site maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
  • Works with direction from Engineers or Vendors.
  • Respects all COMPANY’s HSE regulations (especially procedures related to work permit), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during the performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.
  • Executes all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and in strict compliance with company operating procedures and any relevant statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating conditions.
  • Ensure all worksites are clean and tidy on completion of works.
  • Ensures all problems are immediately highlighted to Supervising Engineer.
  • Participates fully in pre-work assessment and risk assessments and abides by the recommendations.
  • Ensure all near misses and accidents are reported.

Profile

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.

 

HVAC Specific:

All HVAC plant and controls (AHU’s, Fan’s, motors, Belt drives, All Refrigeration and Freezer room equipment and its associated controls), Good Mechanical Engineering Background, Operational experience in the operation of Utilities equipment.
