Job description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for CSR Education & Inclusion Partnership Coordinator to join its work force in Nigeria. 

PURPOSE:  Working with the Education & Inclusion Manager in the delivery of initiatives targeted at the advancement of Company’s commitments to the United Nations SDG goals and the ILO’s Global Business & Disability Network charter, whilst in turn fulfilling the company’s objective of contributing towards her host country’s economic and social development
Efficient monitoring of all E&I KPIs to ensure performance of annual E&I budget

Inclusion

  • Responsible for deploying Company Foundation initiatives in the affiliate – road safety/youth inclusion & education/climate, coastal areas & oceans/cultural dialogue and heritage
    o Interface with Company’s HQ Foundation and downstream affiliate
    o Interface with local Not-for-Profit (NfP) organizations
    o Ensuring local Action! initiatives in line with Group’s focus
    o Drive participation of Company’s personnel in local Action! programs
    o Drive implementation of all Company’s Foundation initiatives in the affiliate
  • Defines, proposes and implements inclusion initiatives
    o Ensuring inclusion of different demographics (girl-child, disabled, etc.)
    o Contributes towards the innovation of scholarship CSR contributions
  • Defines, proposes and implements initiatives showcasing host country’s culture & heritage
  • Initiates procedures for inclusion programs with validations
  • Ensures compliance with and the application of due diligence on the selection of beneficiaries
  • Participates in annual Start Upper challenges – representing COMPANY’s CSR
  • Participates in inclusion development activities, including meetings
  • Implements and monitors Company’s Preneur initiatives

Education Partnership

  • Defines, proposes and implements initiatives encouraging the spread of the French language in host country
  • Implements and monitors non-infrastructural contributions to academic institutions (donations, etc)

Reporting

  • Responsible for E&I periodic reports – ensuring accuracy and provision of pertinent information
  • Provides support in scholarship database management

E&I Administration

  • Contributes towards the implementation of communication and awareness campaigns

Cost Efficiency

  • Contributes towards compliance with the Group’s Cost Efficiency initiatives.
  • Contributes toward periodic financial E&I performance and coordinate necessary reviews

ACCOUNTABILITIES & HSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Guarantee the integration of the Groups compliance rules in the implementation of inclusion administration
  • Responsible for driving the participation of employees in the various Company’s Foundation programs
  • Responsible for the local application of Company’s Foundation programs
    Ensure the identification and implementation of French language use enhancement initiatives
  • Familiarize self with COMPANY emergency procedures, carry out assigned responsibilities safely and report any incident, unsafe act or operation

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
 Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
 Minimum of 10 years' experience
 Strong passion for CSR and sustainability an added advantage
 Strong excel and reporting skills
 Good analytical skills
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
