Job description
Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on ERHA PROJECT in Nigeria.
In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
looking for Execution Superintendent - Integrity H/F .
This position is located ONSHORE in Lagos in ROTATIONAL MODE 11x2
(Or 5 months / 1 month), 5.5 days / week.
The primary Role is :
Optimize the execution planning and sequencing for all integrity and fabric maintenance work conducted on Erha FPSO, including inspection, coatings, composite wraps, structural and marine repairs (workforce size ~150 POB)
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Leads development of execution planning for all integrity programs and repairs, including coordination of Front End Execution Planning activities. Single point of contact for integrity execution.
- Leverages cross-functional input to optimize execution productivity. Defines and implements specific work programs and campaigns.
- Monitors project status, issues, and productivity, and supports execution teams
- Oversee contractor planning, material procurement, mobilization, fabrication, construction, and installation work activities during planning, mobilization, and closeout
- Provide the interface between offshore execution teams field teams and the Integrity / Reliability Manager
- Provide construction core competency expertise
- Ensure good communications and relations with the contractors
- Lead project and execution planning for small / low complexity facility modifications (Cat V/VI) as may be required
- Support turnaround planning and execution activities as may be required
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Champion on-site safety awareness, safety leadership and safety performance with contractor and among construction team members
- Assist contractor in early site construction planning/construction planning prior to site mobilization
- Serve as ERHA interface between engineering and execution teams
- Quality oversight (QA/QC) for vendor executed scope address quality issues/progress
- Interface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
- Provide support to pre-commissioning/mechanical completion/systems completion as required
- Provide project monitoring information and metrics to ensure alignment with plans, project controls and Project Objective and Strategy
- Other duties as assigned
Profile
We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical degree or relevant field experience
- 10 + years experience in project activities related to oil and gas production and development with degree,
- +15 years experience in project activites related to oil and gas production and development without degree.
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Must be able to work in multicultural environment
- Knowledge of project planning and project maturation principles
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated with excellent work organization skills
- Must be able to work in an offshore environment
- Must be physically and mentally fit to execute the work.
- This is a position where some time will be spent in the field where demands can be physically and mentally challenging.
