Control process, PLC, Control loop and Data transmitter

 

Context and missions :

  • Rotation Status - 4Wx4w.
  • Position Onshore in Gas Compression Plant
  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on production SITE.
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.

 

Main activities:

  • Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
  • In his discipline, he/she is in charge to :
    • Organize and perform on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
    • Assist the Preparation / planning team by giving any
      technical support for preparation of the jobs in his
      discipline.
    • Manage interventions and prepare the technical reports related to the field.
    • Is responsible of the specific tools of his team. (quantity and availability)
    • Take in charge the systems / equipment under his/her responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.
    • Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyze them and suggest improvements.

 

Specific activities

  • Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs
    properly within his teams, and actively participates in the OJT /
    assessment program.
  • Identify any recurring problems related to the availability or
    quality of spare parts.
  • Keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs
    and, if need be, suggest improvements.
  • Can be part of Emergency Response Team.
  • Organize the site rotational assignment.

Profile

Profile :

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering,
  • Minimum 15 years relevant work experience in instrumentation systems, out of which, 3-5 years minimum as maintenance Instrument supervisor/Foreman or Engineer in industrial plants (oil & gas production / processing plants, refineries, or similar industrial complexes),
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
  • Good knowledge in Telecommunication systems infrastructure & basic knowledge of electronic circuit design and engineering.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and analysis of system alarms and equivalent failures

 

Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP/R3
